Over the years I've explored the transformative nature of satanic ritual and witnessed it as a powerful force of good in my life and those who have used it to better themselves. In 2020, just as COVID hit, I released my first book - The Devil's Tome: A Book of Modern Satanic Ritual, which contributed significantly to the understanding of non-theistic ritual and stoked a Satanic ritual movement. In 2021 it won The Satanic Temple's Anatole France Award For Contemporary Satanic Literature.
As I was writing The Devil's Tome, I began to envision creating ritual music to accompany the book - something that practitioners could use as they perform each ritual to deepen and strengthen their experience. Music is a critical component of my ritual process. It has helped ground and center me, open me to my emotions, and transform my world. In my own ritual practice, it has served as a powerful catalyst for healing and personal transformation.
I've decided to follow my inspiration and create a soundtrack for the sacred Satanic experience. I'm teaming up with long-time collaborator Kyle to create a series of three full length albums of Satanic ritual music to accompany The Devil's Tome: A Book of Modern Satanic Ritual. Each album of ritual music will focus on a particular theme - Love, Protection, and Power. Each track a spell that corresponds to a ritual in The Devil's Tome, that will deepen your connection with yourself and strengthen your power.
The first record in the project is Devotion: Ritual Music For Love, Loss & Desire. The music are spells for heart healing, finding love within and without, processing loss, and getting in touch with your desire and will feature Satanic Temple co-founder Lucien Greaves. This record is being released as a full length limited edition pressing of only 666 records.
Each vinyl record is a work of art in itself. The front and back of each record jacket will be hand-pressed with gold foil. The cover features the sigil for the Devotion ritual from The Devil's Tome and each like The Devil's Tome, and numbered. The LP itself is an audiophile's dream - it is being pressed by Third Man Pressing in Detroit in 180 gram vinyl for an unparalleled listening experience. The record will be pressed in opaque gold. This series of limited edition vinyl records will contain a bonus track that will only be available on this special edition vinyl. All limited edition albums in this campaign will come with a digital download of the album as well.
